Supervisor & PGRs : Building successful practice ( Accelerator 3/7)Microsoft TeamsSupervisor & PGR; building successful practice Your supervisor can be the most valuable resource you have during your PhD. A mentor and advisor, help to manage your project and keep on track, and a sounding board for your new ideas and thoughts. The list could go on… But key to the success is knowing and understanding how to manage this relationship successfully. The session will cover the responsibilities of both the supervisor and the PGR; it will also look at best practice, hints and tips. Accelerator Series: Seven sessions which we think will be invaluable to getting your PhD off to the best start; or as a great reminder of some key skills that you need for your second year. There’s no need to attend all of them, and some are repeated at different times/ days throughout the 10 weeks. |
