Network for Ethnic Minority Postgrads

About
NEMP is a community of postgraduates from minority ethnic backgrounds at Warwick. We share our experiences and support each other. Each of us will have different experiences and perspectives. Together we can call upon these resources and help each other to progress.
Our aims
It is easy for ethnic minority students to feel disconnected and underrepresented within their departments. Being able to discuss these feelings with one another may help us feel validated and understood. We want to bring together postgraduates and create a space for them to have these discussions, so they don't have to happen by chance. We do this by organising events, including book clubs, seminars and our very popular Diversitea, every Wednesday morning at 10:30 (in hybrid format).
A call for help
We are looking for volunteers to help with organising events and hosting the weekly Diversitea morning chat. If you are interested please email us at NEMP@warwick.ac.uk.
