Core Service Upgrade - Printing Services (08/04/2020)

Why are we doing this work?

IT Services will be updating the Printing Service to provide a more secure, resilient and future proof print environment.

What potential impact upon our customers may occur?

During this time all ITS provided Printing Services (apart from CUPS, Common Unix Printing Service) should be considered as offline or at risk.

What do customers need to do about it if they have any problems?

Our guidance to customers would be to wait for the completion of this change and to resend the document(s) to the print queue if you are unable to release the files as needed.
