Recently, the Centre for Lifelong Learning Team caught up with Taiwo Ogunrinde, former student of the Gateway to HE course who then progressed to a degree and is currently studying her second year of the full-time Social Studies Degree. CLL staff nominated for 2016 University of Warwick Staff Awards
Several CLL staff members have been nominated for University of Warwick Staff Awards.
Centre Director, Fergus McKay said: "I would like to congratulate our colleagues in CLL for their nominations for the 2016 University of Warwick Staff Awards. It is a remarkable achievement and it is a reflection of their professionalism, dedication and commitment to their learners."
Awards success for CLL staff and students in 2015
As we prepare to welcome a brand new year, we would like to take a look back at 2015, and in particular, the exciting collection of awards that have been won by staff and students here at the Centre for Lifelong Learning.
CLL Tutor Dean West wins Teaching Award
CLL Tutor Dean West has won a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence for Postgraduates Who Teach (WATE PGR).
Dean teaches on the Foundations in Social Studies module which is a core module on our BA Social Studies degree course. Dean also runs academic skills development sessions at CLL. Click here to read more about Dean and his work at the University of Warwick.
Awards for CLL alumnus and staff
One of our alumnus and one of our staff members have been recognised for their exemplary teaching practices in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence.
Naomi de la Tour, who studied the 2+2 degree pathway with us from 2003 - 2008, has won the prestigious Butterworth Award for her "extraordinary capacity for promoting and enhancing the Warwick experience for students."
