Course overview

The PhD at WMG, University of Warwick is concentrated on a contribution to knowledge. It requires you to discover, interpret and communicate new knowledge through original research, and to present and defend research outcomes which extend across the forefront of your chosen discipline.

You will combine doctoral-level research with real industrial relevance in a department globally renowned for academic excellence, business focus, industry collaboration and impact in the competitive marketplace.

General entry requirements

Minimum requirements

2:1 undergraduate degree and/or a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or a relevant subject.

  • IELTS overall score of 6.5, minimum component scores not below 6.0.
