Our group's paper titled Depression uncouples brain hate circuit published recently in Nature Molecular Psychiatry has been ranked as #1 most viewed paper in the journal during the month of January 2013.

In a related development, Tian Ge, who is one of the co-authors of this paper, has received the prestigious Heng-Yuan-Xiang award for his outstanding achievements as a student in sensory, psychological or cognitive neuroscience and related areas.

Prof Feng's group's research on depression published in Nature Molecular Psychiatry (October, 2011) was recently covered by major news sites such as CNN.

Our recent research on decision-making in a spiking neuronal network has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Neuroscience (IF 8.657). In this paper jointly authored by Dr Smerieri of the Università di Parma (Italy) and Profs Feng & Rolls of COMBI, we show that longer time constants for the inhibitory neurons can decrease the reaction times, and also produce theta rhythm.
