Evaluating the IAPT employment advisor pilots
This project aims to establish the extent to which Employment Advisers ‘add value’ to the effectiveness of the IAPT service in terms of getting people back to work more quickly from sick leave, and increasing the likelihood of them remaining in employment (either in the original job or a more suitable alternative). The evaluation will consist of a number of elements, including an initial review of the implementation and delivery of the Employment Adviser service, a survey of IAPT service users, and interviews with key stakeholders. The evidence produced from these sources will be used to provide an estimate of the impact of Employment Advisers on IAPT service users.
