Migration and UK Construction 2019
This project created a profile of migrant workers working in the construction sector. It updates previous analysis undertaken in 2017 and 2018 and was conducted in partnership with IFF Research and City-REDI, University of Birmingham Business School Once again, Anne Green of City-REDI reviewed the most recent literature, while IFF surveyed migrant workers and their employers. The IER created a quantitative profile of migrant workers, drawing upon the most up-to-date data from the Labour Force Survey.This was integrated into the final report and summary, published by the Construction Industry Training Board in September 2019.
