ESRC seminar series survey

From 2010 – 2012, the Institute for Employment Research at the University of Warwick, in partnership with Loughborough University's School of Business and Economics, have organised seven seminars on careers work in the UK with financial support from the ESRC (Economic and Social Research Council). Now we have reached the end of the series, we'd like to evaluate how these have been received for possible future events. We would be grateful if you would complete this short questionnaire (which should not take more than 10 minutes). Anonymised responses may be used in the overall report for the seminar series.

1. There have been seven seminars. Which have you attended?

The aims of the seminar series were: \* To foster interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral dialogue by bringing key stakeholders together to debate issues of mutual interest. \* To contribute to policy discussions about the future shape of services and building workforce capacity. \* To deconstruct and reframe the professional identities of careers guidance and careers practitioners in the context of UK service delivery policies.

2. Do you think that these aims were met?

3. Overall, have you been happy with the organisation of the seminar series?

4. Have you used or visited the ESRC seminar series website hosted on Cloudworks http://cloudworks.ac.uk/cloudscape/view/2188?

5. Did this website provide you with useful information about the seminars?

6. Where you satisfied with the overall quality of presentations at the seminar(s) you attended?

7. For the seminar(s) you attended, did you learn anything useful?

Thank you for completing this evaluation. If you would like to be added to our mailing list to hear about any future seminars around careers work please contact Sally-Anne.Barnes@warwick.ac.uk
