In work progression - proof of concept
Tameside Council commissioned IER to undertake an evaluation of the Tameside In-work (TIW) Progression service. This is one of DWP’s in-work progression pilots.
TIW provides tailored, one-to-one support to low paid people who want to progress in the labour market. The evaluation included: an online survey of participants; in-depth qualitative interviews with participants, referral organisations and TIW staff; analysis of TIW MI data; and an evidence review of progression in the labour market and similar services in order to benchmark provision and identify good practice.
The report will be delivered at the end of March 2023.
