Labour market information report
Warwick IER was commissioned by South Yorkshire MCA to undertake a comprehensive analysis of the South Yorkshire labour market to understand the demand- and supply side dynamics. The study provided analyses into industrial and occupational trends, current training provision across the area, and local authority strengths and challenges.
The report and analysis fed into South Yorkshire MCA’s strategy development, informing policy and programmes.
The study also included an analysis of green jobs and skills in the MCA area, using methodologies developed by IER through its work in other countries and areas.
