IER and IES were commissioned to evaluate the impact of the economic downturn on skills need and training practices within different sectors in the South East, in particular the impact of the Government's plans for young people and upskilling and reskilling adults. IER undertook a literature review and quantitative analysis for the project, drawing on our experience in working with regional and spatial statistics.
