University of Warwick backs new initiative to get Coventry’s young learners IntoUniversity

The University of Warwick has teamed up with national educational charity IntoUniversity to launch a new project aimed at raising aspirations and improving educational outcomes for children and young people in Coventry. The IntoUniversity Coventry centre, based in the Hillfields area of the city, will be run by the national education charity in partnership with the University.

Leverhulme Trust backs new Warwick Law research project

An innovative project exploring what the arts and humanities can bring to the study of law is to be supported by funding from the Leverhulme Trust. Professor Gary Watt from the University of Warwick’s School of Law has been awarded a Leverhulme Trust Major Research Fellowship, enabling him to devote the next three years to his interdisciplinary research.


Warwick ranked 4th in Europe in new Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Teaching Rankings 2018

THE (the Times Higher Education) have announced in their Thursday 12th July 2018 edition, that the University of Warwick has been ranked 4th in Europe in their new Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Teaching Rankings 2018. Only Oxford, Cambridge and the Sorbonne were ranked above Warwick.

Uk’s first access course in Islamic Education launched at Warwick

The UK’s first access course in Islamic Education has been launched by the Centre for Education Studies at the University of Warwick. The short course is designed to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic seminaries and modern higher education, and is especially relevant to Muslim educators, faith leaders and graduates of traditional Islamic seminaries who want to continue their professional and academic development.
