Interview practice
Congratulations on your invitation to interview! Make sure you know what the interview process involves, so that you can fully prepare and practise in advance. The more you practise, the better you will perform. It will also help you feel more confident.
Answer practice
- Which types of questions will they ask? Check for detail on the invitation to the interview, it may give you hints.
- Questions are often based on the selection criteria (ie the required skills, knowledge, and experience). You can often find these in the job description/person specification. Questions might also be related to the values or mission or goals of the organisation, so you should also undertake more in-depth researchLink opens in a new window by exploring the organisationLink opens in a new window.
- When you know the selection criteria, use them to write practise questions, or try answering our typical practice questions.
