Donate to the Workwear Wardrobe
Do you have unwanted clothes in your wardrobe that you don’t wear for whatever reason? Or maybe something that is no longer your style, no longer fits, or you just don’t love it anymore? We are seeking donations of pre-loved and unwanted workwear to create this pop-up sustainable Workwear Wardrobe for our students.
The Workwear Wardrobe initiative has been created with the University’s overall strategy of sustainability in mind while aiming to help students build their workwear wardrobe in an affordable way ahead of interviews, assessment centres and as they gain work experience.
Everyone has a part to play in sustainability and climate change and as our students are also faced with navigating the increase in cost of living, donating to the Workwear Wardrobe is an easy way to make a difference.

We welcome donations from staff and students across the University - and employers attending our events.

Bring your workwear to:
- Student Opportunity - First floor, University House
- Student Opportunity Hub - Ground floor, Senate House
- Warwick Volunteers - First floor, SU Building
- WBS - Careers Plus office, ground floor (room 0.012)
- Argent Court - Ground floor
Employers
If you are attending our events, please bring clothing along on the day, ensuring it is clean and can be added to the pop up wardrobe at our events.
If you have an office local to campus, and would like to participate by donating items, please contact us for more details and to arrange collections.

- Law Fair - 24th October
- Work Experience, Internships and Placements Fair - 31st January 2024
Workwear Wish List
As we build the stock, we are seeking clothes to fit all sizes and shapes and all styles of dressing suitable for the workplace
We're looking for:
- Formal suits
- Smart workwear separates including trousers, skirts, jackets
- Formal shirts and ties, tops and blouses
- Paired shoes
Helping the environment
Two tonnes of clothes Link opens in a new windoware bought every minute across the UK. Globally, we now throw away so much that, on average, every second a truck full of clothes is dumped into landfill.

Helping our local community
We will be working in partnership with Warwick VolunteersLink opens in a new window. Any items unsuitable for the wardrobe will be passed through to other charities in the local area that work with Warwick Volunteers so all donations will be of value.
