Application hints
  • Use related experience in the widest sense - dealing with the public, with vulnerable people, taking part in team activities through sport, student societies or cadet force, participating in activities that involve challenge or responsibility.
  • When applying for jobs in the MOD and Security Services it is important to be able to verify where you have been and what you have been doing in the years prior to your application. For the Security Services (GCHQ, MI5 and MI6) you must be able to be very discreet and should not discuss your application.
