This sounds a positive use of your time, and you get to speak to other PhDs and share thoughts and opinions. We are running three sessions this Autumn, based around writing more productively, surviving your viva, and two discussions on how we can think about decolonising our research and research practice Decolonizing methodologies: Research and Indigenous peoples by Linda Tuhiwai Smith 18th November 10.00-11.00 This session is a starting point for discussing how we might conceptualise and design our research in an increasingly decolonising academia. Please read the introduction and at least part of another chapter relevant to their research to share perspectives in particular relation to their current and future research methodologies.
