Commemorating British Labour History
This is a year of labour history anniversaries. Both the Modern Records Centre at the University of Warwick and the South Wales Miners Library at Swansea University hit their 50th birthdays in 2023, while the august Marx Memorial Library reaches its 90th.
Happy anniversaries!
On Thursday 6 July 2023, the three organisations are organising a joint online symposium titled Commemorating British Labour History: Foundations and Future Plans. There will be talks that celebrate the collections held by all three organisations and the contributions made to the history of labour in the UK.
