Awards and Prizes
The History Department awards prizes at the end of each year to students based on their academic performance. There are a variety of prizes that are awarded, several of which are funded by donations from Department alumni and generous sponsors. Details of the prizes available can be found here.
Prizes awarded by the History department (£150 each, maximum of one prize per student):
- MA Dissertation Prize
- Sir John H. Elliott Prize for Best Overall Performance in an MA
- Best performance in the MA in Global History
- Best performance in the MA in Modern History
- Best performance in the MA in the History of Medicine
- Best performance in the MA in Early Modern History
