The normal load is 120 CATS credits. Candidates for honours are required to take six core modules. The remaining balance of 30 CATS credits can be selected from the optional modules list but must include at least one IB-coded module.
In order to qualify for the third year students must be candidates for honours and have at least a second class peformance in an IB-coded module. Candidates who fail to achieve this may be permitted to proceed to the third year of the Computer Science degree.
