Jiang Yang

Jiang Yang graduated with her PhD in Employment Research in January 2021. Details of her thesis: Exploring the relationship between innovation and job quality: evidence from China can be viewed on the Warwick Research Archive Portal when available.

Jiang joined the IER as a PhD researcher in 2015. She conducted the first study to investigate the relationship between innovation and job quality in China, which uses mixed methods including statistical analysis of national data at the industry level and qualitative interviews within case studies at the company level, to improve understanding of innovation, job quality and their relationship in China.

Prior to joining the IER, Jiang completed an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Warwick and a BA in International Economics and Trade at East China Normal University.

Jiang is now working as a director at Liber Larus, an innovative company in the energy and environment field, and is in charge of the business model and innovation strategy development. She has research interests in innovation, job quality and business management.
