Demand and supply for R&D

The Warwick Institute for Employment Research was commissioned by the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to undertake a study on the R&D skills pipeline in the UK. The study collated a wide range of statistical evidence on demand for R&D skills to reveal trends over time and indicated how these are likely to develop over the over the medium-term (bearing in mind the ambition set out in the Government’s recently published R&D Roadmap).
