Evaluation of the Founders4Schools careers programme for teachers

The Institute for Employment Research is working with Founders4Schools to help monitor and evaluate engagement and impact of their online careers training programme for teachers across the UK. IER will be developing an evaluation framework and survey to track those participating in the programme. The online careers training programme aims to support teachers in understanding, accessing and using digital tools on the labour market. Longer-term, it is hoped that teachers will feel confident in embedding these resources in their careers education activities and curriculum within their schools to improve the careers support they give to their students. Therefore, programme participants will be followed up several months after completing the programme to assess any changes in practice.
