Midlands Graduate School Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) ESRC Joint and Collaborative Studentships for entry October 2019
IER has been awarded two new ESRC-funded PhD studentships from the Midlands Graduate School Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP).
1. A Collaborative Studentship offered in Warwick IER in collaboration with the Living Wage Foundation on ‘Understanding employer delivery of good work in the UK’ will be supervised by Professor Chris Warhurst and Sally Wright.
Application deadline: Thursday, 18th April at noon.
2. A Joint Studentship offered in Warwick IER working jointly with the University of Nottingham on 'Social inequalities entering civvy street: researching the importance of class and gender in determining labour market outcomes of military veterans,' will be supervised by Professor Clare Lyonette (IER) and Professor Tracey Warren (University of Nottingham).

The Midlands Graduate School DTP Studentships competition has now closed for entry in October 2019. Details of studentships for entry in October 2020 will be available from the Midlands Graduate School DTP website from early Autumn 2019. ESRC-funded studentships are available for outstanding home/EU PhD applicants. Eligible applicants to the IER MPhil/PhD in Employment Research are invited to apply for one of these scholarships within the Warwick Management and Business pathway of the DTP. Chancellor's International Scholarships for entry October 2019 CLOSED
The University of Warwick Chancellor's International Scholarship Competition for entry in October 2019 has now closed. Details of the competition for entry in October 2020 will be available from the Warwick Graduate School from August/September 2019. The scholarships are highly competitive and are available for ourstanding overseas PhD applicants. The closing date for applications is usually early January in the intended year of entry. The IER is occasionally able to offer a limited number of scholarships to exceptional candidates for the MPhil/PhD in Employment Research. All candidates, applying for any area of research in IER, will be eligible for consideration. Decisions on awards will be made on the basis of academic merit.
