WICID Annual Report 2021 - 2022
It gives us great pleasure in sharing our Annual Report 2021-22Link opens in a new window with you. It has been a challenging year as we worked with our colleagues and partners in a context of uneven personal and professional recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. However, WICID has continued to develop its work through its research, engagement, and dissemination.
The takeaway points from the Report are:
- Member Research grants – internally and externally funded grants, leading to new projects and publications;
- WICID’s thriving partnership and broader engagements – WICID joined the Development Studies Association UK as a Premium Institutional Member;
- Events – online and in-person events including the WICID Annual Lecture 2022 and Critical South Asia Group Series;
- WICID Methods LabLink opens in a new window – our flagship Toolkit and podcast series continue to develop new methodologies and share them with the international development community;
- Think Development BlogLink opens in a new window and Think Development Out Loud Series – these interdisciplinary platforms invite contributors from across the world for inclusive discussions on international development.
We thank all those who have played a role and look forward to the new friends and colleagues that 2022-23 will bring!
