The Festival of Careers brings together a huge range of online events to connect you with employers, help you think about gaining and benefitting from work experience and support you to develop the core skills that a Warwick education can give you.
The line-up includes many employer events, information sessions and workshops designed to cover a broad range of interests. There are many virtual venues, from the Experience Zone to the Skills Tent and Creative Stage, that will help you think about, and explore, how you can find and make most of work experience, discover a variety of job sectors and opportunities that might interest you and find ways to develop core skills to build on your developing employability.
Employers include graduate recruiters, SME’s and Not-For-Profit organisations, from those on your doorstep to those from across the globe.
Throughout the term, you will be able to book free tickets to attend all sessions.
Main Stage
Employer presentations, webinars and events give you the opportunity to hear about their industry, their organisation and what they have to offer.
Skills Tent
Identify and develop the skills required for your chosen career, plus discover how the new Warwick Core Skills Award can help you stand out.
The Cafe
A series of drop in sessions, offering you opportunities to meet with a range of employers in a more informal setting.
Experience Zone
Resources and online sessions to help you find, and learn from, the many opportunities to gain experience while at Warwick.
STEM Factory
Find resources and events focusing on STEM careers and featuring organisations looking to attract students from these disciplines.
Legal Street
Visit Legal Street to access opportunities to engage with Law firms, course providers and professional bodies.
Alternative Stage
Insight into variety of sectors including Charitable and Not-for-profit, Education, Environment, Government and the Public Sector.
Creative Stage
The Creative stage brings to life a wide range of career options in the creative industries including publishing, marketing and arts administration.
The International Stage
The International Stage brings together short-term experiences for study or work abroad and international career vacancies.
