A return to campus events!

Our #MySummerNetworking campaign is a welcome return to campus activity and offers students a vital opportunity to connect with employers, build face to face networking skills and explore career options.

The campaign includes #GetConnected - a series of bite-sized events that will fit in around your revision and exam schedule and enable you to meet employers for the first time and #GetHired - our Summer Careers Fair!

Meet employers and #GetHired at our Summer Careers Fair.

SUMMER FAIR

#GetConnected - a series of face to face events to help connect you with employers

If you are thinking about how to build your confidence and approach an employer in person, how to build your network, or you are wondering how to secure the job you know you want, the #GetConnected events programme provides the resources and support you need to explore all the opportunities available to you.

#GetConnected will provide you with opportunities to meet employers and develop your networking skills, learning everything from the basics of an introduction through to expanding your network. Sessions will include:

  • CV clinics where employers will help you review your CV and understand how to use it in conversation
  • workshops where you can develop networking techniques
  • meet the recruiter sessions where you can simply drop in and have informal conversations with employers of interest or practice your networking and gain real time feedback

#GetHired - Summer Careers Fair, will also help you connect with potential employers, giving you the chance to meet with a wide-range of employers and discover the wealth of opportunities available to you as a Warwick student.

Virtual Events and online resources

Employers will be providing workshops and information sessions virtually for your benefit and have drawn together resources to help you progress.

We are highlighting online employer events, workshops and activities that employers are running over the summer term, to ensure you have access to as much information as possible to support you as you explore your career options. These events will feature in the list below and can be found on myAdvantage by searching 'MySummerNetworking'.

International opportunities

Specialist resources, events information, and links to overseas graduate jobs and internships.

Find out more about from international companies with graduate roles and internships outside of the UK – many companies are beginning their recruitment now for start dates in 2023. Plus we have companies from around the world looking to fill graduate roles for autumn 2022.

Erasmus opportunities for graduates

Erasmus+ funding that you can receive when undertaking a 2-12 month, international work placement in Europe within 1 year of the end date of your course

Short term mobility opportunities

Short international study, work volunteering or research project experiences which can work around your degree, either taking place during vacations or during term time without extending your course length

Warwick Volunteers

Join Warwick Volunteers to access wide variety of opportunities to get involved in volunteering and make a difference in the communities around campus and the local area.

Warwick in Africa

By volunteering with Warwick in Africa, students gain a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in another culture, experience life in the classrooms, build personal resilience and a broad range of skills.
