This information is to help you find out more about the Student Opportunity hub space prior to your arrival.
Senate House is located between the Faculty of Arts Building and the back of the Arts Centre. There is a grassed area in front of Senate House.

Arriving at the Hub

Senate House
Enter the building via the front doors of Senate House.
There is ramped access either side of the steps.

Student Opportunity Hub Entrance
On the left, you will see a large sign saying Student Opportunity Hub.
Enter this space.

Student Opportunity Hub Space
Walk straight ahead on entering The Hub.
You may see a member of the team at the Welcome Desk.
Being in the Hub
Our workshops and events take place in various rooms around the central space. All of these rooms have lighting adjustment, please ask the organiser of the event who has access to the controls.

Sensory Map and Accessibility
We have developed this sensory map to help you know what to expect when visiting the Student Opportunity Hub.
There are staff areas in the offices either side of the entrance way. You will see a welcome desk as you enter the Hub and you may see a member of staff at the Welcome Desk.
Our staff kitchen area is along the right hand wall so you might experience strong smells in that area. There is a water point near to the kitchen.
We have seating areas in the central space.
There may be louder noise in the entrance area and around the Welcome Desk and moderate noise in the central space.
Wheelchair Access
There is wheelchair access to all areas. There are ramps to either side of the steps leading into Senate House and a slightly ramped floor at the entrance to the Hub.
Toilet Facilities
There are no toilet facilities within the Student Opportunity Hub space but there are toilets (including an accessible toilet) on the ground floor of Senate House. The nearest Changing Places facility is in the Warwick Arts Centre.
