'The Printer', 1843-1845

A monthly trade union journal of London and provincial compositors, published in London. It includes general printing news (including re developments abroad), reports on printing unions (including the National Typographical Association and the London Union of Compositors), correspondence, serialised stories (e.g. 'Moll Cutpurse'), poems, and articles on unemployment and welfare (including re the London Compositors' Provident Association and Printers' Pension Society).
