A Bright New Year
This celebratory Victorian New Year card was published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, and is included in the Cyclists' Touring Club archives. The illustration features a sunny scene, with a sporting cyclist balanced on his penny farthing.
The Peoples' Olympiad
This poster was produced to promote the Peoples' Olympiad at Barcelona in 1936, intended to be an anti-fascist alternative to the Berlin Olympics. The Olympiad was cancelled due to the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War days before the event was due to start. The document is included in the archives of the Trades Union Congress.
