The future of transport is being shaped by electrification, autonomy, sustainability and connected mobility. Our MSc equips you with the advanced engineering expertise, systems thinking and leadership capabilities to help drive this transformation. Designed for technical professionals, our course combines a broad understanding of the automotive ecosystem with the opportunity to specialise in one of two high-demand areas: Automotive Electrification or Autonomous Vehicle Engineering. Develop the specialist expertise and leadership capabilities needed to pursue high-demand roles in technical management, R&D engineering and future technology leadership.

Modules

Build the skills to work across autonomous, connected or electrified vehicle technologies - with a strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation and systems-level engineering.

  • Core principles: understand how design, performance, safety, manufacturing and environmental considerations are integrated within complex vehicle architectures
  • Research capabilities: develop the skills to understand and analyse the challenges and opportunities of smart mobility
  • Specialist pathways: focus your expertise in Automotive Electrification or Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Engineering
  • Dissertation: complete a substantial project based on an area of automotive technology aligned with your interests and ambitions
