French Welcome week talk  

FR121 The Story of Modern France (Core module with exceptions*)
FR122 French Cultural Landmarks: Love, Language and Power  (Available to students on French studies, French 'with' degrees, English and French, French and History, BAModern Languages, and as an outside option to students on non-language degrees.) The module is taught in translation for those students who do not have A level French. Some experience in essay writing / analysing texts is required (typically a Humanities A level or equivalent). If you are uncertain, please ask.
FR119 Society and Business in Modern France (Available to students on French Studies, French 'with' degrees, BA Modern Languages degrees and as an outside option to students on non-language degrees with A level French or equivalent; NOT available to joint honours students)
