Chancellor's Scholarships Competition 2013-14

The University of Warwick's competition for the Chancellor's Scholarships Competition for 2013-14 is now open for candidates applying for a PhD starting in 2013-14. If you are an outstanding academic candidate seeking funding for your doctoral studies, visit the Chancellor's Scholarships page on the Graduate School website for further details. The deadline for applications for the 2013 competition is 11 January 2013.

IER offers a PhD in Employment Research, and welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates in the social sciences with an interest in undertaking research in issues relating to the labour market. Futuretrack Prize Draw Winners Announced

Results of the Futuretrack Prize Draw were announced today (28 March). 110 lucky prize draw winners have been selected and contacted by the Futuretrack team with the good news.

HECSU donated 10 prizes of £1000 and 100 prizes of £100 as an incentive for respondents to participate in the final wave of the Futuretrack Survey - the most extensive investigation of the relationship between higher education and employment ever undertaken in the UK.

Futuretrack Survey - Deadline Extended

Many thanks for all your feedback about the Futuretrack study. Owing to popular demand, we have extended the survey until Tuesday 6 March.


Last week of Futuretrack survey – have you done it?

The Futuretrack Survey closes on 2 March 2012. The research team are keen to encourage as many people as possible to participants in the survey, to contribute to building a full picture of the labour market and a deeper understanding of the relationship between higher education and employment. Applicants to full-time higher education through UCAS in the academic year 2005/06 are eligible to participate, and have a chance to win a cash prize for completing the questionnaire.

Futuretrack is the most extensive investigation of the relationship between higher education and employment ever undertaken in the UK. The survey is being undertaken by IER on behalf of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU)


Futuretrack Podcast - Uncovering the student experience

In the third and final podcast in the series, Professor Kate Purcell from the University of Warwick's Institute for Employment Research and two Warwick students discuss the highs and lows of their Higher Education experiences

Professors Purcell leads the IER research team responsible for Futuretrack, the most extensive investigation of the relationship between higher education and employment ever undertaken in the UK. The survey is being undertaken on behalf of the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU).
