Evaluation, research and development support for Start

Working with U-Explore’s Start team we have supported the evaluation of Start and its development through a range of activities such as:

  • Researching the measures the matter to help guide the development of Start activities and questions; and
  • Analysing data to identify and improve online activity development and pathways through activities and modules.

The overall aim has been to support schools to improve their careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) provision by anlaysing the short, medium and long term benefits of using Start. Through this research and understanding data on the Start activities, it is hoped that this will enable U-Explore to better understand the impact of CEIAG activities and improve the effectiveness of provision in schools, to enable improved personalisation for students, but importantly provide evidence on what works for schools, employers and policy makers.
