Our vision for the Food GRP is to enable the best intellectual creativity and teaching capacity to address a highly complex, fundamental contemporary issue: that people should eat regularly, sustainably, fairly and well, served by a food system which draws on the best science and social science to meet continual challenges.

We are a truly multi-disciplinary group and our ‘numbers’ are increasing all the time. The GRP has access to a small amount of funding that can be used to support seminars and other events and ‘pump-prime’ research proposals. The pump-priming activities can be small pieces of research, travel to build collaborations or support for internal research proposals (RDF, Warwick Impact Fund etc).
