Launched in summer 2020 with commitment from 80 investment firms to recruit 10,000 Black interns.

Civil Service Fast Stream Summer Diversity Internship

Open to those from disadvantaged or minority ethnic backgrounds.

Dil Internship Project

a scheme aimed at (but not limited to) South Asian students of Pakistani descent who wish to not only give back to their community but develop integral commercial skills along the way. Businesses offer long-term and seasonal schemes predominantly revolving around marketing and management and teaching.p

Finance and Law

Bank of England African Caribbean Scholarship

Money for degree sponsorship as well as work experience and insight days.

Law Society Diversity Access Scheme

Enables students from diverse backgrounds with extenuating circumstances to earn a scholarship that will fully fund their Legal Practise Course. The project is sponsored by a range of top firms including Hogan & Lovells and Eversheds and Sunderland.

STEM

Colour in tech

Offers a fellowship programme to help BAME undergraduates and graduates connect with start-ups to get experience.

Creative, Marketing & PR

Harper Collins

12-month BAME publishing traineeship. Details available around May each year.

The Scheme (Random House)

A six-month editorial traineeship for candidates from BAME or low socioeconomic backgrounds. It’s a chance to experience life in a publishing house, to find out what editorial work is like and to build the basics to start a career in publishing.

Creative Access

Helps young people from black, Asian and other non-white minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, to secure paid training opportunities in creative companies, and supporting them into full-time employment.

Journalism Diversity Fund

The Journalism Diversity Fund provide bursaries to support NCTJ-accredited training of journalists from ethnically and socially diverse backgrounds.

Public & Third Sector

Charityworks Fast Track Programme

Provides talented BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) students and recent graduates experience of working in the non-profit sector.

Historic England

8 week heritage trainee summer internships for BAME applicants.
