In this podcast, Peter Ayling, explains about how he discovered the discipline of play therapy during his social work career and subsequently undertook the training to practice as a Play Therapist. Peter describes how he works with the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service for looked after children in Birmingham and uses play therapy as a therapeutic tool within his work. Peter attended the event as a representative of the British Association of Play Therapists and his presentation covers what is involved in training to become a Play Therapist.
