About us
The Audio Visual Services team are responsible for the specification, installation, monitoring and maintenance of all Audio Visual equipment on campus. We also provide a range of technical services and training materialsLink opens in a new window to support teaching, learning and the business needs of Warwick’s staff and students.
We regularly publish Audio Visual Service Metrics to help provide clarity and insight on our services to our colleagues and customers.
Please note, some central and locally managed rooms and workareas may not be available due to the current Covid 19 Pandemic. Further guidance on buildings status.

There is no on-call service outside these hours. However, subject to prior arrangement, AV technicians may be available to work outside these hours (subject to additional charges).

Hybrid Teaching Technologies
We provide guidance on the in-classroom AV technologies that can be used to deliver sessions to students who are physically present in a classroom and students who connect remotely, using the on-site PC and AV facilities.
Buy and Borrow AV Equipment
We offer purchasing guidance and equipment loans to allow you to be flexible around developing Audio Visual technologies and environments.
Collaboration Tools
We provide a range of Audio, Video, Webinar and Desktop conferencing services.
Digital Signage and the Big Screen
We provide technical support for Room signage, Digital signage screens across campus and the Big Screen.
Wireless Casting with Solstice
Solstice is a wireless screencasting tool that is available throughout campus.
Lecture Capture & Universal Capture
You can record lectures, seminars and any other content that goes with them. Browse our support guides and install and use our Universal Capture service on Managed and Unmanaged computers or laptops.
Projects
We work to design and implement audio visual technology on campus.
Rapidmooc Pilot
The Rapidmooc Studio helps to make creating professional quality videos easy. The pilot stage has now ended and Rapidmoocs are installed in dedicated rooms. Please visit the Academic Technology Rapidmooc page for details.
We provide training for using room AV equipment, Lecture Capture & other services.
You can also request technical assistance for the start of your lecture.
Media Conversion
We can convert VHS tapes or audio cassettes to DVDs and CDs for you. We can also produce IDG technical video support materials.
TV and radio archive
If you're a student or staff member at Warwick, you can access thousands of hours of recorded TV and radio.
LapSafe Electronic Device Locker
AV Services have a LapSafe Diplomat Electronic Device Locker and charging station located within the ground flour atrium of the Oculus building.
Catchbox Throwable Microphone
Catchbox is a soft throwable microphone that increases classroom participation and student engagement.

Off-Campus Lecture Delivery
