The following checklist has been designed to help you prepare for your graduation day. We recommend that you print this page and tick off the items as you complete them so that, when the day comes, you can sit back, relax, and celebrate with your friends and family!

|Register for your ceremony (registration opens in early November, and closes at 16:00 on Wednesday 4 December 2019). ALL eligible students must register to let us know if you are attending, not attending (graduating in absentia), or deferring your ceremony. You will receive an email invitation to register. if you do not register you will graduate in absentia by default.|
|Check your name on your student record. After graduation we are not able to amend your name on record, so it is vital that you check beforehand that this is correct. If your name is incorrect, please contact us with a photo/scan of your ID in advance of the ceremonies.|

|Ensure all study related fees/charges are paid by the deadline stated below. (Check your account via your Student Records Online).|

Deadlines for Conferral of Award for Inclusion in January 2020 Ceremonies
Undergraduate: In order to meet the committee date, departments should submit pass lists to the Student Records Management office by Tuesday 19 November 2019.
Postgraduate (Taught): In order to meet the committee date, departments should submit pass lists to the Student Records Management office by Tuesday 19 November 2019.
Postgraduate (Research): pass lists to be approved by Steering Committee by Monday 18 November 2019 (in order to meet the committee date, the Doctoral College office must be in receipt of examiner's reports and all necessary documentation by Friday 8 November 2019, including hard bound copies and CD of thesis).
