Schedule: 17-27 July 2023

The July 2023 degree ceremonies will take place from Monday 17 July 2023 - Thursday 27 July 2023, with no weekend ceremonies. There will be two ceremonies per day commencing at 11.00 and 15.00. All ceremonies will be held in the Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre, University of Warwick.

Students due to graduate in July 2023 (all students with degree level awards conferred between January - June 2023) will be invited to register their intentions in late May/early June 2023 and will have the option to attend their ceremony (certificate issued on the day of the ceremony), graduate in absentia (certificate posted or made available for collection following the ceremonies) or to defer their graduation to July 2023 or January 2024 (certificate not issued until the deferred ceremony date).

Please note, the schedule of ceremonies is based upon anticipated student attendance. Spaces at the ceremony are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that a ceremony reaches full capacity, graduands will be offered the opportunity to register for an alternative ceremony, usually on the same day but this cannot be guaranteed.

The table below shows the confirmed allocation of departments to the ceremonies. If you are reading for a joint degree you will graduate alongside the department which has lead responsibility for your course; please check carefully.
