Writing and Journalism
Writing is a skill that can be used across industries and journalism similarly encompasses a lot of different ways of working. The two areas broadly include: researching, creating, editing and publishing text for different audiences. It includes news, features, magazines, digital journalism, copywriting, broadcasting and specialist writing. You may work across print, online, audio, video or social platforms depending on the role.
You may work on articles, interviews, newsletters, reviews, scripts, branded content or web copy. Some roles are closely linked to current affairs and public interest reporting, while others focus on commercial content, culture, lifestyle or specialist subjects.
