Prize draw terms & conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to current registered students at the University of Warwick. Staff and non-students are not eligible to take part.
  2. To take part, students must upload an image to Instagram or Twitter on the theme of ‘When I was little, I always wanted to be a __’, using the hashtag “#GJWE16” by the deadline of 12 midnight on 23 February 2016 (as indicated by the “time since posted” Instagram feature or the time/date stamp on Twitter). Entries can be submitted any time from the launch of the competition until the closing date, including during the Graduate Jobs and Work Experience event on Tuesday 23 February, where there will be a white board/chalk board available for students to write their dream job and pose for a photograph.
  3. Only one entry per student is permitted. Instagram posts must be visible until 15th March to remain eligible. Posts that have been deleted before this date will not be eligible.
  4. Any entries posted after the deadline will not be entered into the prize draw.
  5. Inappropriate entries will be considered void and removed from the draw. Entries will be defined as “inappropriate” if they contain illegal, offensive, pornographic, copyrighted or other such material, or if they violate the terms and conditions for Instagram or Twitter; the judges’ decision is final.
  6. There are 3 prizes – each prize is a £50 EAT Card. There are no cash alternatives.
  7. Winners will be selected randomly from the entries submitted and notified via Direct Message on either Twitter or Instagram by 15 March 2016. They will then be asked to reply with their name and student ID.
  8. Winners must confirm their acceptance of the prize within 1 month of receiving the winner notification email by responding to placementlearning at warwick dot ac dot uk. Prizes not claimed by the deadline will be re-allocated.
  9. Winners must visit the Careers & Skills Help Desk in the Learning Grid, University House in person with their Student ID card to collect the prize in person. Prizes will not be passed to a representative. Prizes not collected by the end of 2015/2016 academic term i.e. 2 July 2016, will be withdrawn.
  10. 10. Winners’ Instagram/Twitter account names and winning posts may be used for University’s publicity purposes, including sharing across the University’s other social media platforms. All other entries to the competition may also be reposted across relevant University social media channels – including, but not limited to the official University of Warwick accounts and those from Student Careers & Skills – in the build up to the Graduate Jobs and Work Experience Event on 23 February.
  11. A list of winners is available by written (emailed) request.
  12. Student Careers and Skills reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.
