Pompeii continues to reveal its secrets, fascinating historians and archaeologists alike. Amidst the ashes of antiquity, Michael Scott, Professor of Classics and Ancient History and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) at the University of Warwick delves into the recent revelations emerging from this iconic archaeological site.

The University of Warwick’s Ancient Drama Festival is set to return for its tenth year, featuring Aeschylus' The Persians. Funded by the British Academy, the festival will take place on the 25th and 26th January 2024 at the Warwick Arts Centre.

Euripides’ tragedy about love, betrayal and revenge is coming to Coventry. The play will be produced by Classics students at the University of Warwick, and will be performed in the Main Stage of the prestigious Belgrade Theatre in Coventry.
