The Creative Stage

Creative Stage icon

The Creative stage brings to life a whole host of career opportunities for students focusing on the Creative industries. The stage will host a variety of virtual events including a series of virtual panels and the headline Creative Careers event.

The stage will be open for the duration of the festival with virtual Skills workshops, employer presentations and webinars as well as employer drop in sessions available to employers wishing to contribute, raise their profile and present opportunities to students seeking to explore career options within these areas.

Alumni are also welcome to join the stage with pre-recorded content, video careers stories, and speaker series options all available for those that would like to help students to gain a thorough understanding of the industry and choices available to them.

There is no charge to access the Creative Stage and any of the events hosted within.

We would particularly welcome support from our alumni community in this area and reflections on how Covid-19 has affected the industry at present. Please contact employerconnect@warwick.ac.uk for more details

Discovering Careers in Creative Industries will be taking place on Thursday 14th October 6.30-8.30pm

Our Discovering Careers in the Creative Industries event will allow students to engage with national and local organisations, individuals and Warwick alumni, media course providers and professional bodies working within the creative industries.

Those attending may be seeking to promote opportunities available to students, highlight ways in which to secure work experience and internships and develop a strong network, or may simply wish to enhance our students’ knowledge and understanding of the sector. The event will provide an excellent platform to raise your profile as an organisation operating within this field, or share your knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our students.

The event creates a strong, lively networking opportunity for all involved and is a popular event in the calendar attracting high student attendance.
