The STEM Factory launches in week 5 of the Festival – Monday 1st November
The STEM Factory is our feature week focusing on STEM careers and is the area of the Festival designed for those organisations looking to attract students studying these disciplines.
The STEM Fair - Tuesday 2 November, 11.00am - 4.00pm
The virtual fair is the main feature event within the STEM factory and will enable to connect effectively with our students. For more information please visit the Fair listings page
Options in Engineering – Thursday 4 November 6.30 - 8.30pm
Our Options in Engineering Sector event is designed purely for companies within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector who are seeking to recruit students studying Engineering and other related degrees, and it is therefore marketed heavily to these student groups.
We also seek to involve a range of engineering firms across all disciplines to attract a diverse student audience.
In our virtual event, organisations will have the opportunity to present to students: this is an opportunity to highlight your available roles, what it is like to work for your organisation and how students can get ahead in your application process. Once all employers have presented there will be an opportunity for a Q&A session, facilitated by a member of our Guidance Team.
Speaker slots are limited so please register your interest early to email@example.com
Employers attending our STEM events or wishing to connect with our STEM students may also wish to deliver employer presentations, skills sessions or Cafe Sessions within this week to support engagement and raise your profile to the highest level.
We particularly welcome contributions from employers and supporting bodies looking to diversify your workforce.
Existing schemes you may wish to support include SPRINT - our female development programme and Warwick Advance - professional development for Widening Participation students. We welcome your support and contributions to these programmes and will also be happy to work with you to deliver your own initiatives in this area.
The STEM factory provides employers with an excellent opportunity to connect with our STEM students.
Participation within the week is not charged for the majority of our events with the exception of the STEM Fair and Mainstage presentations - please see the relevant Festival pages for information on how to book these services.
To get involved with all other STEM Factory activities please contact Employer Connect in the first instance.
