The STEM Factory focuses on STEM careers and is the area of the Festival designed for those organisations looking to attract students studying these disciplines.
Careers in Data Science
2 February, daytime event
Careers in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is designed to inform interested students of the impact of data science, analytics, machine learning & artificial intelligence in business and industry.
There is no charge to attend this established and ever-popular student facing event where employers may highlight opportunities available, raise your profile and impart valuable sector knowledge to an engaged virtual audience, keen to develop a career within this sector.
We also welcome back alumni of the University working within the sector who wish to share their knowledge and insight to help our current students as they begin their career journey.

Non-lab-Based Science Careers

Our new Non-lab-Based Science Careers virtual event aims to attract a diverse range of students who are looking to understand more about a career within sciences outside the lab.
We welcome interest from a broad range of speakers, in particular those working within patent law, regulatory affairs or medical writing/communications.
There is no charge to attend this new student facing event where employers may highlight opportunities available, raise your profile and impart valuable sector knowledge to an engaged virtual audience, keen to develop a career within the scientific sector.
We also welcome back alumni of the University working within the sector who wish to share their knowledge and insight to help our current students as they begin their career journey.

Employers attending our STEM events or wishing to connect with our STEM students may also wish to deliver employer presentations, skills sessions or Cafe Sessions within this week to support engagement and raise your profile to the highest level.

We particularly welcome contributions from employers and supporting bodies looking to diversify your workforce.
Existing schemes you may wish to support include SPRINT - our female development programme and Warwick Advance - professional development for Widening Participation students. We welcome your support and contributions to these programmes and will also be happy to work with you to deliver your own initiatives in this area.
